Mounting the Plaques. The Plaques commemorating the Donors will be mounted after the another significant stage of the construction is finished – namely the insulation work in the lower part of the Temple.
Long tradition. Commemorating the donors who support the construction of churches is a very old tradition. Even in the oldest temples, one may find places which commemorate people, who contributed to construction of sacral buildings. Most often, the plaques informing about the sponsors are located on the side walls of temples. There will be a special alley in the Divine Providence Center, where one will be able to find people involved in the construction of the complex. The Donors Alley will surround the Pantheon of the Great Poles, which, by some, is already called the Wawel of the Third Millennium. It will be a place of rest of people who contributed to Our Homeland and the Catholic Church in Poland. The Pantheon is a resting place for: Chaplain of the Katyn Families, Monsignor Jan Twardowski, prof. Krzysztof Skubiszewski, Monsignor Zdzisław Jastrzębiec Peszkowski, Chaplain of the Katyn Families Federation, Priest Andrzej Kwaśnik, Chaplain of the Katyn Families Federation, Priest Zdzisław Król, Priest Józef Joniec who tragically died in the plane crash in Smolensk, last President of Poland in exile – Ryszard Kaczorowski. Also, there is a symbolic grave of the Holy Father John Paul II right behind the altar.
Monument for posterity. We strongly encourage you to support the construction of the Center. Everyone can contribute to the creation of the Vote of Nation. It will become an exceptional evidence of gratitude, which will remain for hundreds of years and will be a statement for future generations. Please, familiarize yourself with the Terms concerning placement of the names of Donors on memorial plaques.
